- CPU
- MADAM (Memory Address Decoder Access Manager)
- CLIO (Controller of Link and Input/Output)
- CDROM Drive
Later versions of Opera has MADAM and CLIO combined under one package - Anvil.
On other sections of this wiki we will take a deep look into the Opera hardware. Until then -- let's take a look inside MADAM and CLIO
MADAM is an AT&T FPGA and has following parts:
- Memory manager
- DMA controller
- CEL engine
- FENCE memory access protection
- PBUS controller & DMA
- MATRIX coprocessor
CLIO is an AT&T FPGA and has following parts:
- Interrupt controller
- Watchdog
- DMA controller
- Timers
- VDLP
- DSP
- XBUS
